Knight Way Campus
Building the Future of Hands-On Learning
A Legacy of Learning, a Future of Growth
Since 2003, Hands-On Montessori School has nurtured a thriving community of learners. Now, with the development of the Knight Way Campus, we’re embarking on an exciting new chapter. This purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility will bring all our programs together under one roof, support the expansion to middle school, and provide immersive, nature-based educational experiences designed to inspire students for generations to come.
Innovative Design Meets Montessori Values
The Knight Way Campus is thoughtfully designed to reflect our core Montessori principles while embracing sustainable, modern construction. Every detail supports the growth and well-being of our students, including:
- Spacious, light-filled classrooms with scenic views of conservation land.
- Indoor-outdoor learning spaces that encourage exploration and independence.
- A dedicated art room and a 2,100 sq. ft. indoor/outdoor makerspace encourage innovation and hands-on projects.
- A multipurpose area serving as a gymnasium, theater, cafeteria, and large-group meeting space support a variety of activities.
- Community gardens and farm animals to foster hands-on learning and responsibility.
- Flexible, multi-age classrooms designed for collaboration and creativity.
- Environmentally conscious building practices for a sustainable future.
More Than a School—A Community Hub
The new campus isn’t just a place to learn—it’s a place to connect. We’re expanding our role as a cornerstone of the local community by creating new opportunities for:
- Student-led businesses, like garden produce sales and honey from our hive.
- Partnerships with local organizations to support meaningful projects.
- Intergenerational programs with elders to build lasting connections.
- Conservation and sustainability initiatives that inspire stewardship.
